Dear ATA Members, Families, and Friends
Welcome to our 22nd Anniversary Regional ATA Championships. This is the kick-off tournament for the 2011 to 2012 World and State Championship year. We are preparing a great event for your enjoyment. With the most dynamic martial art and some of America’s most dedicated martial artists, this weekend promises plenty of fun and excitement to go around. On behalf of the Masters, Instructors, Leaders and all the ATA families here in central North Carolina, welcome to "Tiger Country". We are very excited about this years event. Our honored guest is the first Chief Master of our Region, Chief Master Scott Stauffer. He will be visiting us from his home in Charleston, South Carolina. He will be joined by most of the masters from our region. Together they will be sharing a wealth of knowledge and wisdom with you. Take full advantage of the time you have with them; let them help you visualize your path to Mastership. Another great reason for celebration is our promotion of our second 7th degree black belt in the Allen and Vision network. Master Wegmann just became my first student to be promoted to 7th degree black belt. If you get a chance, visit with him and lend him support as he prepares for his elevation to Senior Master status. As always, we look forward to a super special event this year. We've planned for most of the activities hosted in previous years as well as a few new additions. This year we have decided to go back to awarding trophies instead of medals. This year during the Dinner will be awarding to Outstanding school owners and their staff. And as always, we will be looking for an opportunity so recognize someone displaying super special courtesy and spirit. Keep checking the website for more information on these and other additions. I thank each of you for supporting us over the years. You have enriched our lives and we hope this weekend affords you excellent memories to cherish and share with your friends and family. Visit our website www.allensdcs.com to keep informed so you can maximize the pleasure of the weekend. Thanks again, and travel safely. Come by and talk with me during the weekend!
Yours in Taekwondo, Senior Master Jewell H. Allen Senior Master Jewell H. Allen 7th Degree Black Belt
